Publishers Able to Search Specific Ad Types, Promote Business Models and Include Email Ad Campaigns

LONDON, UK – 10 July 2003 – Commission Junction (www.cj.com), a leader in pay-for-performance marketing, announced today the launch of a publisher initiative to enhance capabilities and revenue potential from CPA (cost-per-acquisition) advertising offers. The publisher initiative works in conjunction with the recent Account Manager 6.0 release, which helps online marketers locate and develop partnerships.

Four main components of the publisher initiative include the ability for publishers to:
  • Promote to advertisers their specific marketing methods
  • Locate CPA offers designed for email campaigns
  • Search for specific ad types that will interest targeted audiences
  • Easily reconcile aggregate commission payments

These business models, such as search marketing, Web content, software, or email marketing, will now be prominently shown within the network interface, called the Account Manager. Along with Commission Junction's unique open marketplace metrics, such as EPC (average earnings per 100 clicks), this feature helps advertisers make informed decisions when recruiting publishers, as well as more effectively develop and optimise their ad creative to suit their publishers' needs.

To facilitate a growing number of email marketers, Commission Junction has also created a new email link type that enables publishers to locate CPA offers created specifically for email campaigns and track their results along with the other advertisers and ads they promote. This feature complements the recently announced partnership with Topica, a leader in email publishing solutions, to promote responsible email practices.

To accommodate the growth of its publisher base worldwide, Commission Junction has also enabled publishers to search for advertisers and ads by language, country and serviceable area. With these new search features, publishers can easily find offers that will provide more value to their audience, increasing the loyalty of their visitors and their conversion rates.

Another added enhancement of the publisher initiative provides publishers with comprehensive payment status information, resulting in more up-to-date account information and better account management. Publishers can closely track income from high-performing advertisers and identify relationships that may need revaluation or adjustments.
